Choosing the Materials
Rene uses natural material such as fresh water pearls, semi-precious and gem quality gemstones, and sterling silver for the findings (toggles, charms, pendants, accent pieces, etc.) She uses only the finest quality pieces available.
The Design Process
While other designers may sketch design ideas in advance and try to force the materials available to fit the concept, Rene views the materials available and allows them to influence the intuitive side of the design process in how to combine them.
Creating the Piece
Each piece is designed and manufactured by hand by Rene in her studio. All pieces with sterling silver will be polished prior to shipping. All watches will have new batteries placed in them prior to shipment.
